Signs play a valuable role in the design of any public space. However, their value does little good for the millions of Americans who are blind and visually impaired if basic accessibility guidelines are ignored.  This webinar session will go over the key steps toward assuring proper guidelines are met for appropriate accessible signage.

Presenter: Anthony Stephens, director of advocacy and governmental affairs for the American Council of the Blind, will be on-line to provide key information for an architectural barrier that is unfortunately as easy to overlook as it is to remedy.

  • This webinar will be presented via the Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing platform.
  • Real-time captioning will be available through the Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing platform.
  • A telephone conference option will also available should you choose not to use the webinar platform.
  • Information on accessing the webinar platform and the telephone conference number will be provided prior to the session.

Screen Reader Users: Individuals who are using Screen Reader Software should review the instructions and information available in the Accessibility Guide for Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing
