The NH Emergency Preparedness Conference is an annual event that brings together emergency responders from across our state to explore a wide spectrum of emergency management topics using an all hazards approach.

This presentation will discuss topics specific to addressing the needs of persons with disabilities before, during, and after an emergency. Topics include legal rights and responsibilities under disability-specific laws, service animals, disability etiquette, addressing extra-special needs, identifying facility barriers, access to programs and services, and promoting individual emergency preparedness among persons with disabilities. The presentation will provide time for questions and answers that will focus on resources and solutions to common problems.
